One reader writes in: My husband is at the very end of his application for AD and we are expecting to get our first assignment soon. Hes been in the ANG for about a year and a half so hes already done all his trainings. Do you have any tips for starting off our career, and specifically for our first PCS move? The nearest AF base is an hour away so it will be difficult for us to utilize on-base services. Ive spent hours on spousebuzz and other sites, drinking in information like a camel preparing for the Sahara, but I still dont feel ready to move (Will I ever?). Any and all tips are welcome!
