We never thought Cruz would be potty trained for another couple years because of his medical issues, but recently Cruz has proven us wrong! For the past 2 weeks Cruz had 2 pull-up accidents, & has been holding his pee through the night! He doesnt even ask for help using the big boy potty anymore, he just goes on his own! Yall probably dont think this is anything spectacular, but thats because you havent dealt with the obstacles Cruz has had to overcome. Cruz has had a hard time using the restroom on his own since he was a baby, thanks to a few Navy doctors. Weve spent his whole almost 3 years of his life trying to accomplish what we have recently in the past 3 months. Im so proud of the efforts this kid has put into this big change, hes so smart & I know that God has given him the ability to push thru any challenges he may face, even at such a young age :) I get real emotional over these accomplishments because hes been thru so much already & being told he may not have control over his body till age 5 is hard to take in but like I said, Cruz has proven that wrong. Today I asked Cruz who Jesus is, & his response was Jesus loves Cruz, Im so blessed…
