We now have this report from a Lawyer who was observing the elections in Istanbul translated into English. Please read and share widely. Since the 30th of March 08.00 AM I have been working with unscrupulous people. For those who are not in Ankara and those not informed about the issue this will be a general illustration. On the day of elections, at 16.30 approximately, 30 AKP affiliates arrived to the little school of a village where I was responsible during the counts. They were objecting during the counting of the votes and took advantage of the demoralization of people after the AA agency reported falsely about the number of votes, resulting in people leaving the ballot boxes alone, and AKP affiliates to destroy the votes. This is the main reason why the votes in Cankaya and Yenimahalle came so late. They were constantly objecting and protesting in order to cause this delay. In the meantime AKP announced its victory only to cause further demoralization. They used the same technique in Istanbul too. This is the reason why votes in areas of Besiktas and Kadikoy also came out with a delay. We didn’t leave the ballot boxes out of sight for a minute. Together with around 20 MHP affiliates and 10 BBP affiliates we intervened. We handed in all signed written reports to the CHP headquarter. We thought our job was done. In reality this was only Step 1 of the operation. Step 2 of these operations: For every ballot box, two copies of signed reports are being prepared. One goes to the presiding officer; the other one goes to the person responsible for each school. The presiding officers take these to the election commission, and from there they are added to the YSK system. The people responsible of each school take their copies to the parties (Every party has a person responsible for each school). Thus, it is possible to compare the number of votes. Here we can see that the reports of the YSK were manipulated. So either the number of CHP’s votes were decreased, or completely destroyed, or the majority would simply be transferred to a different party. We checked a massive amount of reports. The only thing I can say is this: I have been living in this country for so many years, but I have never witnessed such insidiousness, thievery, or deception. So haw did we detect all of this? This demonstrates how important these signed reports are. The volunteers send pictures of the reports to the parties. By this means, until now we have detected 6000 cases of infraction of the rules in Cankaya and Yenimahalle; hopefully today we can object to all of these. I am not joking. For instance, a YSK report that states 220 CHP, 40 AKP, 14 MHP and 3 HDP percentage of votes was manipulated into 22 CHP, 40 AKP, 30 HDP and 190 HYP. There are ballot boxes in Cankaya were CHP votes are completely non-existent. The people who did this need to be questioned. Like I said before, I have been voting for years but have never experiences something like this. It comes to mind if these things also happened in the previous elections. Step 3: As if all of this wasn’t enough, in another operation in Yenimahalle and Cankaya where CHP has strength, they managed to keep some ballot boxes untouched by means of various pressures. In the school where I worked we could only finish at around 22.30 and found out this: There is intervention in schools like Nazism Hemet, Kabala and Seyran; the ballot boxes cannot be opened, and those that are being opened there is somehow always an intervention and the counting of the votes delayed. This is literally psychological terror. When I went to Seyran at around 23:00 I witnessed this: 200 AKP affiliates with choppers and sticks in their hands are trying to enter the school while nationalists were standing up against them and police firing gas at the nationalists. The question is this: How did these guys even get the notice to enter the school? They were there before us! Who told them and why did they come to that school? Because I am a lawyer I was always granted entrance to the school. Approximately 1500 ballot boxes of Cankaya were waiting to be opened, same in Yenimahalle and Kecioren. We protected the ballot boxes and continue to do so. So far, around 500 ballot boxes are still unopened or being opened just now. There are still around 380 boxes in Yenimahalle and Cankaya. Step 4 of the operations: Again, as if this wasn’t enough, in many areas of Ankara the electricity in schools was cut off. In Kecioren and Yenimahalle there were interruptions such as this for longer periods. Again I would like to ask why yesterday or today there was no power cuts? Or why not on the 28th or 29 of March? The energy minister’s explanation is significant: A cat entered the power distribution unit.
