We now in Iguacu and it is almost the end of the line for bike riding... thought Id be really sad at the thought.... However todays experiences riding in the rain, and just as we came into our stop for the night a sudden tropical downpour caused us to take cover under a shops verrandar... And also just because it knew it was the last big ride my derriere was sore all day..... Tomorrow go touristing to the falls. Will be interesting. The special part of today was we were rescued by the lovely hospitable Argentinans.... First as we left our city his morning, spluttering around a roundabout because we were so short of petrol... A local in his car indicated did we need help,(bec we nearly drove into him stoping and starting) Hamish pointed to the empty fuel tank.... He pulled over to tell us where the closest petrol station was, realising our very limited Spanish he indicated to us to follow him, and he went out of his way, back tracked to town to a gas station, amazing kindness... We were able to understand he had a motor bike too, a Honda, so just goes to show how the world works in circles.. also visited the Jesuit mission ruins on the way, realised there was no secure parking for the bike with all our gear.... Happen to see some young guys commenting to themselves about the bike, Hamish approached them, had a broken English /Spanish chat about bikes... And yes they would be happy to look after it. Upon coming back to the bike they had moved it to lock it in their shop, plus our gear.. With a note on it press the bell.. .. Which we did and they came running out with everything in tact... So happy to help....kindness everywhere...
