We often ask "WHY" when affliction hits our lives. We even begin - TopicsExpress

We often ask "WHY" when affliction hits our lives. We even begin to question Gods love for us. I myself am guilty. I was asked not to long ago why does God allow young Innocent Children to die? And now the demise of yet another innocent child is close at hand. Through the trials of tragedy we begin to see a shift in behavior in ourselves and others. During this shift we begin to question our own mortality. That is when everything else around us gets quite. It is then that the emotion of True love sets in, our compassion and desire to help is greater than ever. It is in that moment we see our true nature, our creator has designed us this way. If we have faith then we are to pray for healing, and through our love and compassion the lesson is learned that we too are only here for a brief moment. I believe it is our true purpose in life to love one an other as Christ has loved us. So much so that he gave his life so that we can live. So my answer is simple Gods plan to justify us to himself, is that we die to this life to have eternal life in heaven. In our journey we learn that Love and compassion covers a multitude of sins, it strengthens our Love for each other and unites us in HOPE thorough our Lord Jesus Christ. And so I leave you with this scripture (Romans 5:1-5 NIV) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, {2} through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. {3} Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; {4} perseverance, character; and character, hope. {5} And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
