We only adopt local for what we feel are some good reasons. We require applications and want to follow up on those applications to verify the information or see hazards for the dog in person. Were going to insist that you meet the bulldog for adoption in person before you take them home. We want you to be fully informed about the size, personalities and explain quirks there maybe in person. These are living creatures - not sweaters, toys or sporting equipment you can pick off the Internet and have delivered. These are rescue bulldogs - dogs someone else has decided they dont want or couldnt place with a friend, family or other acquaintance on their own. As rescues, they deserve to be met in person to appreciate how special they really are and understand their needs. Were not supporters of puppy mills and have no desire to delivery (fly or driven) dogs to someone, to only learn they arent perfect and dump later ( or wish you could return) or protrayed as being something the home wasnt expecting to get to them. Our adoption contract requires the adoptive home return the bulldog to where they adopted the dog at anytime they are not able to care for the dog. We know if you picked up bulldog in person from us - you are most likely capable of bring the dog back in the same condition.
