We owe so much to those brave Americans who stood up and fought for workers rights, and we should all support American (and international) unions. With unprecedented wage disparity we should insist that corporations not be able to have massive layoffs to keep ever increasing profits for shareholders (investors of disposable income). There ought to be a threshold. Its inhumane that businesses can fire people due to rising health care costs just so they can make a LOT more money. If they would still have any profit they should NOT be taking away jobs. Thats flat-out greed.
