We planned a trip to LI and upstate NY for a wedding, Christmas in November with our kids, and a nice long visit with our dear dear friend Joe Hughes also know affectionately to me as Uncle John. We were heartbroken when we received word last week that he had taken a serious turn, I prayed for his recovery, prayed for him to wait, prayed for his family and prayed for Gods Grace. We arrived on Long Island, our family was there, the wedding was gorgeous, the dancing was get down Joe type dancing, we laughed and had such great joy. The next morning we packed it up to head North and see Joe directly to Ellis from LI we were on a mission. Have traveled this route 100s of times over the years, never ever saw what we saw coming over the Tapanzee Bridge, barges with supplies to build the new bridge. The largest barge named H U G H E S (huge letters) sprawled along the side. So anyone traveling North take a look to your right and Joe is welcoming you up.
