We rarely post anything about our son, Elijah outside of our secret adoption group, but I think it is about time. This adoption is over 2 years in the process, and he is not home. There have been many roadblocks along the way, but God has called me to be a father to the fatherless and my wife was designed to be a mom. We are in need of prayer for a specific situation. The United States government has been asking for more and more paperwork in order to prove that Elijah is (was) an orphan and that he is allowed to come into the country when the time comes. We have provided this paperwork and they asked for more. We sent the paperwork yesterday and it should arrive today. We would like to ask you to pray for divine intervention and favor with the individuals that look over those papers. Many have helped us with calls and petitions to various government officials and we appreciate that. The fight is not over, and there is much to be done in order to get Elijah home. We are simply tired of the self-centered governments putting up roadblocks to adoption. We know that God will bless it all in spite of the governments, but in the meantime, a little boy is living in an orphanage on the other side of the world, without his family. Please join us in prayer daily for the adoption situation in DRC.
