We reach 20+ dogs during each run, and today it was all done in the pouring rain because this work gets done no matter the weather, and no matter how many of us are out there. This dog is a new case that were grateful to have found today in the pouring rain. Hes got one of those square houses that spins in circles, flips upside down and ends up a mile away down a hillside so that hes left with absolutely nothing at all for shelter. Thats why we no longer use square houses. Well set him up with an igloo style house tomorrow--one that will stay in place so that no matter how irresponsible his guardians may be--he will still have some refuge from the elements. For tonight we fixed his old house and reminded him that someone cares. It was difficult to accomplish without being able to touch him, or have contact with his guardians, but we left him better than we found him for sure!
