We really appreciate all of the love, warm thoughts, and prayers shared with us and sent our way today. I wanted to share with you all that today is not a sad or painful day for us. On this day, four years ago, our son was born into Heaven instead of Earth. He was welcomed into the arms of Christ and joined the communion of saints. As much as we would love to have Victor here with us, and I wonder; as I watch his little sisters grow; just what his personality would be like, I can think of no better birthday gift for our son than the amazing and awesome rejoicing of all the angels and saints as another precious soul was welcomed home. Today, for us, is a day for joy, remembrance, and celebration. We celebrate and remember the gift of his life and the gift of parenthood. We celebrate and are so thankful that we were allowed to participate in the creation of such a precious and beautiful soul. We are joyful in the knowledge that our son is safe, happy, and HOME. I have great hope and pray that we will all be so blessed to return home one day. St. Victor, pray for us.
