We really have problems in Nigeria...and it is not government problems... Can you imagine that Christina Moses who died a few weeks ago after a long battle with Cancer has still not been buried? After Abu Moses had to raise N350,000 to pay the hospital bills before he would be allowed to take her body...all this stress for a man who himself is ill in the middle of his grief. Her family suddenly remembers that he did not finish paying her dowry and was still owing N30,000. So they declared that he will not bury her until he pays them N700,000. After begging and negotiating, they finally agreed to reduce the fine to N200,000. This is a man who worked as a security guard ooo, and still has 3 daughters of school age, 12, 8 and 6 to raise and look after. Are our people just not insane?? Where do they honestly expect him to get these funds from? Such wickedness in our land....in the name of culture and tradition. I am so incensed at this level of stupidity and insensitivity... #TakeBackNigeria.
