We recently finish recording our third Pharis and Jason Album! We recorded it here in the banjo shop with the master audio engineer David Travers-Smith who came with his mobile set-up all the way from Toronto. And for the first time we had some dear friends and fellow musicians join us on a few tunes. Josh Rabie on fiddle, John Hurd on bass and Brent Morton laying down drums on one track! Emily, Pharis mother came up to watch Indi and cook for us all.... and we just couldnt have done it without her. With banjo on 6 tracks including two solo gourd banjo tunes, some amazing new songs of Pharis and some unusual old trad. tunes Pharis and I are thinking it just might be our best album yet. We hope to have cds in hand by the end of January. Here are some photos of that ten days of good times.
