We sat in bed early this morning, waking up, chatting about the day, sending out invoices (on Aarons part), reading client emails (on mine), attempting to smooth an especially terrible bedhead (also on mine) and enjoying the Virginia sunlight streaming in our window. It was all so peaceful... until, in one graceful motion, a very-focused Aaron finished an invoice, noticed a small foreign object nestled into the duvet near my chest, and immediately - heroically - flicked it soundly off the bed. We listened to it bounce off multiple walls with a tiny, metallic thud before landing in an undisclosed location somewhere behind our bed, presumably unable to cause any further damage. I turned to Aaron and simply explained: That was my earring back. (Happy Friday, everyone!)
