We saw A Million Ways To Die In the West this afternoon. What follows is our review. The movie should be titled A Million Ways To Use Vulgarity In The West. As we had nothing better to do this afternoon I wont count seeing this movie as a total waste. It was as mildly amusing as listening to three middle school boys having a gross out contest . . . with about as much originality. There were more cinematic shots and attempted humor with bodily fluids then humorous dialog . . . and there were plenty of attempts at humorous dialog that wasnt. As an attempt to be a modern Blazing Saddles this movie is simply lame. For a movie this vulgar and body humor centered they could have at least included some nudity. I will give them this -- Charlize Theron is a beautiful woman to look at, which brings me back to my point in the preceding paragraph. Perhaps it sounds as if I am old fuddy duddy. Be that as it may, bathroom humor usually cracks me up. But this movie wasnt funny. Final note to production team -- if you are going to have a male penis come out of a sheep you could at least let it be uncircumcised. Yes, it was that bad.
