We see ourselves everywhere and are constantly warning others - TopicsExpress

We see ourselves everywhere and are constantly warning others about our impending approach: Look at that mean person. Look at that loud person. Look at how much that person complains. What you see is what you are. Ask yourself, "When I look at in the world, what do I see?" If I see terrorists, I am a terrorist. If I see crooks, I am a crook. If I see others taking advantage of the system, I am taking advantage of the system. If I see others not letting me be myself, I am making sure that they feel very uncomfortable letting down their guard. Which one happens first? I see in others what I myself have done. I did it first, and so it is my own identity that I am looking at. The world is my mirror. Deny it and say, "The world is nothing like me," and then describe it, write that down, and put it on your bathroom mirror to remind you what you have been concentrating on denying. To say that others are evil and I am good is to deny that God exists. runningturtle87
