We should not be bowing our heads and placing our hands on our hearts, singing allegiance to this country - Or any country. It is submission and worship - where in the Bible does it tell us that anyone bowed to anything, or submitted themselves to anything....except for them who worshiped other things and images, and not GOD? This might sounds crazy to some people, but, this is NOT a GODLY nation - its a nation of deception, and power by force and murders, and by crooked leaders - GOD has not commanded anyone to siege lands by war like the old covenant times were - HIS command is for us to PREACH THE GOSPEL - JESUS said: (Matthew 5:38-48) Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. People will preach all these things, but, when it comes to them personally being offended or hearing that their own freedom may be taken, then they are all up for the death of others so that they can keep their own freedom... yeah freedom is nice, and it is comfortable.... but what about JESUS? Did he fight back and murder those who were persecuting HIM? Did HE even so much as call an angel from Heaven to protect HIS life? No! HE didnt! Why are people selectively choosing where HIS teaching should be and ignoring it in the areas that they think they should have full control over, and still say GOD has blessed this country - yeah, thats like saying GOD blesses them who are disobedient....Just like Israel in the Bible, HE didnt just strike at random with wrath upon them... or just turn them over without warning... GOD WARNS PEOPLE!!! even in Israel... they sinned against GOD for a long time, before HE set HIMSELF against them. SO many will quote 2 Chronicles 7:14 all day long.... and say we all need to pray!... but will not turn from their sins and obey GOD - No, they want to be saved, but, still live in their own ways - (Psalms 66:18) If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me]: (Proverbs 15:8) The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. (Proverbs 28:19) He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. (Isaiah 59:2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear. (John 9:13) Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. What will happen is this: All who continue in sin, they will be punished, but, them who have repented and follow the LORD, they will be saved. I dont want people to be punished - nor do i ever find any pleasure in speaking that people will burn in everlasting fire forever.... But, I do love the LORD, because HIS love is poured into me - and HIS love and mercy are for them who turn to HIM - repenting of sin, believing in JESUS that HE died so that we could be saved, and that HE is alive - the LORD has sent us a gift to give us strength and power and love and truth and wisdom, and all these good things of GOD, that we may overcome the world in HIM. the war of the elements are still against us, but, we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15). HE ever lives to make intercession, Amen.
