We should praise God even when we don’t understand what He is doing in our lives. Troubles are not sent to bother us but to better us. We may not know what is going on when we have trials, troubles & tribulations but God is always in control. Praise and worship was never meant to be shut up in a single day, on Sunday. Worship Him EVERY day, in the good & the bad. We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have. It is an action on our part, to say thank you, to stretch our arms & lift our hands to Lord. If it seems like God is in no hurry to make the problems in your life go away, maybe we shouldnt be, either. Tough times have helped me to understand better than before, how beautiful life is in every way, and that so many things that we worry about are not important whatsoever. Corrie Ten Boom once said, You may never know that JESUS is all you need, until JESUS is all you have. Remember, life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you respond to it. God will not look you over for medals, degrees, or diplomas, but for scars, and they are a sign that the hurt is past us, the pain is over and a reminder of what you have been through!
