We should strengthen the NIS, CID, ATPU and other security agencies in order to gather information about terrorists faster and better. We should allow the government to wiretap the communications of suspected terrorists. We should work to improve the lives of everyday civilians through education, a better infrastructure, available food and water, quality housing, etc. Allow the use of torture to captured terrorists. We should create a new anti-terrorist unit of the government. One area that they will cover will be how to defend the country in case of a nuclear, biological, or chemical terrorist attack. The other area will deal with field operations: highly trained Kenyan operatives will operate undercover and take out terrorists in foreign countries before they become a direct threat to the Kenya. We should try suspected terrorists in military tribunals. Government should employ counter-radicalization tactics that engage and thwart extremism before it mastasizes. Shoot all radical clerics... including Sheikh Makaburi. Thats where we ought to start. We should increase Police powers.
