We so appreciate input from our Festival Fans. Although we know its impossible to make everyone happy all the time, we are always looking for ways to make the concert experience more enjoyable for the majority of you. Hopefully many of you will be happy campers this year! Over the past year we have reevaluated our venue set-up and policies in response to feedback from you as well as the growing pains we have naturally experienced and noticed as a more popular event. This year, our security volunteers will not be forcing people to sit. We are figuring, as at every other similar outdoor venue that we have researched, the music will dictate what the majority of the crowd wants to do (i.e. sitting during a mellow part of the show, standing if the music is jamming and/or the artist asks you to get up). We will have paid security personnel for the first time ever to keep the aisles clear to ensure safety. Also, we are moving the tent back slightly so that the dancing areas where there are no chairs has a better, more frontal, side view of the stage. Additionally we are raising the stage 12 for better visibility and elevating our sponsor seating so they are not blocked if people stand up and they wish to remain seated. The Dance Concert set-up (Trombone Shorty/Galactic show this year) will be the same. We will see how it goes and continue to reevaluate after the season, so please come to some shows this summer and let us know if you think it is an improvement!
