We sometimes see a multi-millionaire or billionaire pass from the world and we think, “How sad for him that he squandered all his millions instead of donating to Yeshivot or chesed organizations – oy the agony he must now experience for the endless reward he could have gotten had he just given more tsedaka during his lifetime.” And while this is certainly true, what we do not realize is that although Hashem did not make us millionaires he gave us tremendous personal talents. Do we utilize our special gifts to the utmost to serve Him? Do we maximize our own special unique abilities to gain as many mitsvot and to bring down more holiness into this world?
