We spent Saturday up by Stanley and ended up at Alturas Lake. So beautiful, peaceful....and quiet. I was taking photos of the Fall colors on this beautiful day, when I hear 2 little voices ring through the air..... Oh no! Tall grass! Can’t go over it Can’t go under it....Can’t go around it...Have to go through it! Swish, swish, swish, swish... I immediately recognized the song as one my oldest daughter used to sing when she was little, and she later taught it to her sister. I havent heard that song in probably 8 or 9 years. I stood there and watched these 2 children come into view....lost in their adventure. I thought Wow....one girl graduates high school next Spring, and my little girl turns 13 today and is now a teenager. Where did the days go? Time moves on.....and they continue on their own paths through lifes adventures.
