We spent a beautiful first day in Rome. When we arrived we got annoyed though because its very hard to buy a day ticket here, but then we found the hotel, had a 30 minute rest, and then went back to town. First we had some delicious pizza and a fantastic Cappuccino, then we went to the historic city centre and walked all around the Colosseum and the surrounding ruins, monuments, buildings. We even got sunburns haha. In the evening we visited a restaurant and came back to the hotel. We will visit a lot more places tomorrow, and on Sunday we will explore the Vatican. :)
