We spent the afternoon decorating and getting ready to host a special birthday party for an incredible little boy, Carlos son, Angel. As soon as the final touches were made, Carlos and his family arrived and thats when we learned the party wasnt going to be focused exclusively on Angel. Carlos & Hilma brought a truck filled with tables, chairs, a gas grill and a large spread of food they spent several days making. When we asked Carlos why he went to so much trouble, he said. Its my responsibility and my honor to show you how appreciative we are! They wanted to show us how thankful they were for everything weve done for them and their actions spoke volumes! We were all so touched by their kindness! It was an amazing afternoon, the food was absolutely delicious and everyone there was touched by the goodness of caring people! Angel loved his new toys, pajamas, tickets to a Solar Bears game, and a bike from the Pine Castle Moose Lodge #2345. He absolutely adored his Sponge Bob cake and piñata too. All of the kids had such a great time! Carlos and Hilma were so touched by everyones generosity....$100 paid to Metro PCS, Target/Walmart gift cards, tickets to Disney with spending money and a $400 credit towards their OUC bill. Carlos and his wife both had tears in their eyes when they read through the donations. They couldnt believe all of this was happening to them and they were completely SHOCKED when we told them how many people are helping behind the scenes to bring the magic of Christmas to their home. The best news is its not over yet! This family received another food delivery today along with more presents to open on Christmas! Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible! There is no doubt, this family is experiencing the love from so many people and they are having the most amazing Christmas theyve ever experienced!!
