We stand behind the power of the water....As women, as mothers, we are the first environment for our children. Our children live and breathe in water and we are the first environment so anything that impacts the women, whether its our heartache, our physical bodies, if its toxins or poisons that were putting into our bodies through the water and the air and the land and the food, that were poisoning our children... NO CONSENT! Radio-BED reaches out to communities affected by Imperial Metals to ask about sovereignty, resistance and the unfolding of the catastrophe. Includes interviews with members of the Secwepemc Warrior Women’s Society, Arthur Manuel, Grand Chief Stewart Phillip of the UBCIC and the spokesperson of the Klabona Keepers from Tahltan territory.
