We stay here in Ubud a lot when we go to Bali..often we are the only ones staying here..the owner who owns the Neka Art.Museum keeps it open for Ari Smidt an ex-pat Dutch painter in his 90s who was one of the old school of Ubud post war artists..although it is basic we are always very well treated and Kathie usually has the pool to herself..it is one of the many reasons we love Bali..it is definitely not Kuta..
