Contact me for more information at [email protected] or 0176-23998476 (Eric Anderson) Verbier is one of the premier resorts in Europe, with over 100+ km of runs and a top height of 3300 meters at Mont Gele down to 1500 meters there are lots of runs for skiers of all abilities. The runs are comprised of 43% Blue, 29% Red and 28% Black with lots of off-piste possibilities for the experienced skier. Verbier is a ski resort not to be missed while in Europe and many epic ski movies have been filmed in the Verbier area with its breathtaking backdrop and awe inspiring mountains. Our 3-Star Hotel the Forclaz Racing (hotelforclaztouring/) in Martigny has a restaurant, the Sunset bar (many international beers on tap) and smoking lounge (grotto) for your après ski and after dinner enjoyment. There is also a second bar available atop the hotel for mountain views. This trip include 2 x breakfasts, 1 x dinner, a great atmosphere and the hotel staff is always willing to help with any requests. (And there are always generous 2nd helpings at dinner time) We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and are only a short 20 minute bus ride to Verbier (Le Chable). The advantage is that we get our lift tickets at the valley in Le Chable and you can choose to ride the cable car all the way up to the top of the Verbier lifts (without getting off) or choose the newly opened (in 2014) opposite side of the mountain for a totally new area. Some of best places to drop in on in Verbier are the Pub Mont Fort (50 meters up from mid-station) for après ski (pubmontfort/) and for lunch in the town right next to the mid-station is the famous Offshore (offshorecafe/fr/coffee-bar.html) serving breakfast all day and some of the best burgers and American style food in town. If nothing else you have to go in to see the VW Beetle with surf board, take some pics for your Facebook page! And finally, in Verbier you can drop by Sir Richard Branson’ Chalet (virginlimitededition/en/the-lodge/stay-in-winter) for a ‘visit’. No limit credit cards accepted! ;-)
