We still tried to go through with these amazing shows at MoonPad even after we learned about the dishonest practices of the owner, Derrick Knight, at a show that took place a few weeks ago and even still after learning of his notorious scams that took place in Miami and New York. We were trying our best to have this show go on. We tried to take extra precautions to assure that the show would happen without a hiccup but Derrick did not want to work with us and completely change his attitude and the agreement we had previously agreed on after he became aware of the controversy surrounding him MoonPad. He tried to have us leave a large sum of money as a deposit and wanted us to provide everything that his venue should provide. Basically he just wanted to kick back and collect money and possibly steal some from the bands at the same time.., again. We decided not to work with Derrick and the MoonPad and to relocate the show to our house in Bell Gardens and in doing so Guantanamo BayWatch, Audacity, and Massenger dropped out dooming the Friday event with no headliners. We are still working on having the second night take place at the new location. We are very sorry about this unfortunate series of events and any inconvenience we may have caused anyone. We would just like it to be known that we are by no means professional promoters just a group of bands trying to make it happen for each other.
