We, the BALAMBAN ASSOCIATION of NORTHERN CALIFORNIA (public group in Facebook), are joining hands with you in asking for Gods blessings through the intercession of St. Francis of Assisi, to realize our dream of making our home town a more loving, more peaceful and better place to live in. Our warmest and felicitous greetings to the people of Balamban in celebrating our town fiesta, in honor of our Patron Saint, St. Francis of Assisi, a great lover of God, People and Creation, on October 3 & 4, 2014. The prayer song of St. Francis wins our hearts and inspires our minds to be willing instruments of Gods love and peace, and challenges us to incorporate the beautiful values of simplicity, humility and forgiveness into our own lives today, living not only for ourselves but also in solidarity with one another. We maybe oceans apart, coming from different walks of life on different roads but one great thing we share is BALAMBAN and our common deep devotion to St. Francis strengthening our unity, peace and love. We are celebrating oneness with you and have maintained our connection with our origins and our beloved hometown, BALAMBAN, through our annual celebration of our Balamban Town Fiesta here in Northern California. August 16, 2014 was a big day for Balambanganons here in Northern California for we were truly honored by the visit of our Parish Priest of Balamban, Msgr. Guillermo Gorre to the Bay Area. In spite of his hectic schedule, he managed to come and meet us, looking fresh and cheerful and celebrated a THANKSGIVING MASS WITH US.. We appreciate very much that our parish priest is looking for ways and means to continue the renovation of our parish church. We thank our members who have contributed and pledged to contribute to the ongoing Balamban Parish Renovation Campaign.
