We, the Student Christian Movement of the Philippines - Cebu condemn in the strongest terms the act of the administration of the University of San Carlos (USC) of subjecting to disciplinary proceedings Jeffrey Ken Ecarma, Nico Gular,Kathleen Abugan and Alem Garcia. This is a clear manifestation of campus repression, a clear move to silence the progressive student movement and a violation of the democratic rights of the students enshrined in the our Philippine Constitution. Thus, we call the dismissal of the case of Jeffrey Ken Ecarma, Nico Gular, Kathleen Abugan and Alem Garcia! Uphold Student Rights! No to Campus Repression! Estudyante, Uban Kanamo, Ayaw Kahadlok, MAKIGBISOG! Ang tinood nga Kristyano makita dili lamang sa sulod sa simbahan o eskwelahan apan makita usab sa kadalanan; nakig-uban, nakigbisog alang sa kagawasan! Padayon!
