We think we have had enough of this cancer stuff. I had a scare some years ago (all good now), lost a son in law to it,a cousin earlier this year, a friend has been diagnosed, another cousin is strongly fighting it, yet a long time friend and my best man Shane Webber lost his short fight with pancreatic cancer last night. Shane was very philosophical about the cancer, when I spoke to him some weeks ago and was hopeful that the treatment would give him some comfort and maybe a little more time. Alas the time was not available to him. My hope that his recent weeks have been as comfortable as possible. In any case, he suffers no more. To Shanes family Christie, Brent, Andrew, Margaret, Jane, June, Lindy, David, Craig, Maurice our thoughts are with you. Take care of each other and remember the good times.
