We took Makenna back to clinic today. Her counts, while they are increasing, still were not at the level they need to start the next round of Chemo. That means we are pushed back another week. Her weight was flat week over week. She is eating more, but she is also getting more active which means she is burning more calories. She just might not be able to physically consume enough calories to gain the weight that is required. We may have to do a feeding tube over night so she can get more nutrition. We still have a little more time before we have to make that call, but it is looking more inevitable that we will have to go that route. This journey is bringing new definitions to the terms patience and flexibility. Thanks everyone for all your support. We will keep you all updated as we learn more.
