We took Rusty tonight to the park for a walk. First walk since surgery in May. He did ok. A few things different than normal, he walked fast but never caught up. Normally hes way ahead. Tonight he walked by my side or behind (which I dont mind compared to his pulling back then). We let him walk then carried him a ways then repeated so he could rest in between. The only bad thing is he still drags his back feet which caused his toe nails to grind down. Even one toe pad ripped and bled :-( the walk was about a mile but he was held most of it. Hes ok and even when I held him he begged to be let down to walk on his own, silly boy.
