We took Tully to Petsmart to have his dew claws ground down as he was beginning to catch them on his blanket and collar. While his wonderful former groomer, Aaron, was doing that, Pete was in line to pay for the manicure and I grabbed of bag of roasted Beef Ligaments...I know, I know...but the dogs love to chew on them. In the front corner of the store were nine Rescue Greyhounds with their fosters. Tully had stopped to touch noses when he came in, so after we had checked out, we went to meet these wonderful, gentle dogs. I had 4 friends immediately and it took me a moment to realize I was holding the bag of treats. 5 more dogs were behind the table, but 18 eyes were fastened on me, so I did what any dog lover would do; Cracked open that bag and gave out treats. I was kissed, hugged and slobbered on...by 9 happy Greyhounds. Totally made my day. :)
