We took my nephew Taku out to the markets and went to have lunch at the cemetery with my son.It was beautiful.I figured early this morning that i might cook a stockpot for dinner seeing as we had heaps of left over meat from the previous day.So while we were at the markets i got watercress,herbs and spices, wild mushrooms and an assortment of other fruit and veges and Italian cababretta bread.So after a long day out i go for a short nanna nap for 2 hours.I wake up and start cooking and just at the point Im about to finish,I hear rustling from the bedrooms.Every ones waking up,so i yell from the kitchen for every one to get really for dinner and that it will take me another 10 minutes to chop up all the fruits to make a huge bowl of fruit salad.My daughter Celeste walks out and looks at me sheepishly and says Dad while you were asleep we made reservation at the local restaurant so unfortunately we are going out for dinner. So i had a wonderful meal by my lonesome and got stuck into a couple of slices of watermelon for dessert.I was going to top it off with Kenyan coffee but i settled for a can of coke.It was all bloody nice.
