We took our workout to #Catanigardens in #stkilda this weekend. Our exercise of the day today is a Step Up Knee Lift. The step up is great for strengthening the glutes, hamstrings and quads. Adding the knee lift add an extra challenge for your core and balance. Make sure the foot that is on the bench is completely on- dont let your heel hang off the edge! Gently draw your belly button in to your spine to activate your core. Push your foot firmly into the bench and use your glutes to power up, bringing the other knee up towards your chest. Pause and control back to your starting position. Aim for 3 sets of 12-15 on each leg. Next time your out at your local park for a walk/jog, why not add a set at each bench that you pass- youll spike your heart rate and strengthen your legs at the same time.
