We try and publish our teams results and celebrate success of our teams. In some instances success comes in other forms and not necessarily the final result on game day. In relation to our awesome miniroos teams we do share some results that coaches share with us, but the important aspect of Miniroo football is in the participation. Yes we are all competitive and want to do our best, but we have to remember that part of early player development is ensuring that the right ethos is breed into our players. I believe as a club we do this generally well, although we can always be better and we continue to learn. Today has already seen a number of miniroo results be published, and these are great achievements, below are the final few: Under 9 Kangaroos had an impressive win against a very strong and well organised George Cross side. (4-2) Under 8 Kangaroos had a good win over local rivals Altona City. (4-0) Under 8 Wallabies also had a good win over Keilor Park playing the entire game with no substitutes. (5-2) Under 11 Girls had a well deserved win over Kensington Girls SC (5-0) Under 10 Joeys scored and impressive win over Barnstoneworth (4-0) So well done today to all our miniroos teams. It is great to see so many children running around on football pitches around metropolitan Melbourne on a Sunday morning. GO JETS!!!
