We understand that some retailers feel the need to get a bigger and better jump start on the Thanksgiving shopping weekend. At first it was the 7-10am door-busters; then it moved up to 5am, then midnight on Thanksgiving day. Now many chain retailers will be open ON Thanksgiving Day. Our hearts go out to their employees who will be forced to give up a day with their families and friends to deal with bargain-hunters. We will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, and we look forward to spending time with our families, eating a great meal, having a nap, taking a walk, watching some football, and maybe playing a game or two. Friday morning, November 29th, well open at our regular time of 10am. We hope youll include a visit in your Thanksgiving weekend plans... just not if youre planning to shop ON Thanksgiving day. ... pass it on...
