We ventured out earlier and it went great, we got right out of the driveway (2 1/2 in of ice) slipped and slid our way to a faster speed up the hill!! Yay us!! Got to the store for sodas and as I was getting in the car I made a joke about the ice chunk on the roof trying to decapitate me....omen #1. As were bouncing through the parking lot it shifts.. Omen #2 should have stopped then but NOOOOO we get going down the road and this HUGE chunk of ice slides into the drivers side windshield OMFG Im blind driving on ice!!!! Bergii keeps telling me Im ok Im losing my shit because I CANT SEE, then shes hollering no youre not ok youre gonna hi that guy move over!!!! Geez some warning will ya!!! Crisis averted ice falls off and takes my damn windshield wiper with it!!! Gahhhh I know better than to ignore the warning signs! Sigh we made it home safely got the dangling wiper back on and I had to change my britches!!!
