We visited Wiarton and Tobermory up North over the long weekend,it is so therapeutic and liberating to drive and see all those wide open spaces, wind turbines, spectacular landscape and quaint towns along the way. We climbed 70 feet up the tower to look at the lakes and islands, superb view and crystal clear water,we also hiked the Bruce trail up to the place overlooking the lake, the lighthouse, large ferry and boats and the area where the land ends. Of course we tried out some of the local food at one of the little restaurants nestled in one of the villages.God blessed us with great weather for the outdoors. Next time, God willing we plan to visit Manitoulin Islands.
