We want to let you know about a produce distributor’s voluntary recall of peaches (white and yellow), nectarines (white and yellow), plums, and pluots due to a possible contamination from Listeria monocytogenes. We have just confirmed that some of our fruit is affected by this recall announced on the FDA website: fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm405943.htm We will be contacting all customers impacted via email and crediting their account in full for any fruit impacted by this recall. The FDA reports no known illnesses at this time, and none of our customers have reported any issues. Just a reminder that it’s always important to thoroughly wash all produce before eating.
