We want to take this moment to acknowledge the disparate posts you are seeing on our Facebook page these days. Seeds of Peace works in three different areas: the Middle East, South Asia, and the United States. With programs year-round in all of them, as well as our yearly summer camp located in Maine, there is always a lot happening in our community. Currently at Camp are Seeds from Maine and Syracuse, engaging in activities and in dialogue focused on issues ranging from race relations and socioeconomic disparity to education. Simultaneously, our staff around the world is deeply concerned about the situation in Israel/Palestine, and is responding in all the ways they can: planning appropriate programs, outreaching and supporting Seeds, and urging for an end to the violence. In sharing these diverse daily posts with our online friends, we aim to do right by all of our Seeds and programs.
