We wanted to share with you a good bit of news we received recently... The Animal House has been chosen as a finalist in the Maines Institute for Family-Owned Business Maine Family Business Awards. Its really an honor to be recognized, and we are the only business in midcoast that will be represented at the May 19th Award Ceremony in Portland at the Marriott. We are up for awards in four categories including: Shep Lee Award (community service) Maddy Corson Award (fewer than 25 employees) First Generation Innovation Award I know it sounds very Hollywood, but we really mean it when we say its really just an honor to be counted amongst other fine family-run businesses.
