We were WAY behind getting out to the ferry. I think it was 3:40 and we were supposed to buy our tickets at 3 PM. Next thing I know, Nishan and Susan are around at the back of the van hauling our bags up to the luggage cart and filling out the labels for us and loving on us. Blessings abound. AND they gave us a card with a gift enclosed to offset some of this expensive trip. Dear lord Thank you for friends like this. And thank you for the DEAR friends. Thank you for Matt and Lilly and their Card and gift that touched me SO much yesterday when this whole thing started to hit me. And thanks to all the family at church this morning that poured out their hearts in prayer for us AND to those who gave us gifts there too, and than to Sam for doing such a fine job leading the singing and singing such a dear song during the offertory. And thank you for all the uplifting comments people have shared here on FB and for the encouraging call from Mark Fontenot (Lenise H Fontenot) and having a good cry with me on the phone, thank you for his tender heart. And please give us rest tonight and be with Jack Davis as he stays by Moms side tonight at the Hospital holding her hand.. And be with Andys family tonight and give them some rest, too. And thank you to Kris Miller for loading us up in his truck for the drive to the Super 8, even though it was a smoky room the first time. And DEAR LORD thank you for Margaret (and Bob) and for all she does for us to make our lives possible and for all the love she showers on us.
