We were are at White Rock Lake this morning and found this little guy trying to swim away and it appeared that he was stuck in vegetation. Upon closer inspection I found that he was stuck in a noose of heavy gauge fishing line and every time he tried to get away, it was choked him. I waded into the water and was able to break the fishing line (not without cutting the heck out of my hands) and get him out of the water so that I could work on getting the fishing line off of his neck. It was tied in a knot and I needed some clippers to get it off & was fortunate enough to find someone with a pocket knife in their car (thanks ladies for the help!) and get it off of the ducks neck and get him back into the water. To whomever was fishing and left that mess for this little guy to get caught in, PLEASE CLEAN UP YOUR MESS!!!!
