We were at Good Hope Cemetery in Guyan Twp. today and so many of the very old stones have been broken. It is very sad that people would destroy these old, old stones. Several of my ancestors stones were broke and so many of these are now even harder to read. :-( Chuck did try to prop them so they were not laying with the writing on the ground in hopes that would help them from deteriorating more. We also went to the old Sims cemetery and even though there is no sign telling you where it is, you could see that there is a very faint road going up the very steep hill. Very doubtful that you could get a car up it but probably in a 4-wheel drive vehicle or you could walk.
