We were at an amazing fund raising day yesterday, in aid of The Lullaby Trust, masterminded by my old friend Kris and her Husband Gareth, after the loss of their darling daughter Gracie, earlier this year. They were aided by many and varied friends, family and even unknown benefactors, who generously donated to the cause. The Police came with various vehicles, dogs and were just wonderful with all the children there, letting them clamber on, flash the lights and sound the sirens. We had a siren war with a Paramedic Car Siren and the Police, as the Ambulance Brigade also turned up for the fun. In all it was just an incredible event. Just before the Auction, which was the highlight of the evening events, four of the men, including Gareth took the Ice Bucket Challenge. What I love in this is the short lived celebration by one in the middle, after the dustbin was dropped. He was then marked out for special soakings. :) Well done everyone. What a DAY!!!! xx
