We were called by the police, as a request, to come & recover a car that was stuck on top of a lawnmower. Dispatch asked if we thought we could get the car off of the lawnmower; & of course, we told her we could. We thought, this should be fun!. We got there & talked to the officer, who has always been awesome to us. :D A lil elderly lady had accidently hit the accelerator, instead of the brake & run up & over the parking curb & up onto a commercial lawnmower. Bless her heart, she was so upset & she cried & cried; I went over & put my arms around her & told her it was ok & that we had seen worse & that it was nothing. I cried with her & kept hugging her. She was a wee little lady, so very sweet. We ran the bed of the truck back underneath the back of the car & then put blocks on the bed, under the frame of the car. We lifted the car right up & off the lawnmower within seconds; and as always, we done no damage to the car or lawnmower. Had it loaded in just a few mins. I must say, this one was a first (car on a lawnmower). It was fun & we love doing a tricky recovery without damaging anything; its the challenge to perfect what we love to do that we like. :D But I still cant get that lil elderly lady out of my heart, she was so little & so upset; and I had no problem standing there comforting her, hugging her & crying with her until she calmed down. Bless her heart.
