We were funded for KICKSTARTER video, THE HAIRDO MONOLOGUES. Here are things I learned: 1. Research about 50 projects just like yours and note their video, copy, prizes, and updates, 2. Create your video carefully and keep it short, 3. Use your social network to promote your campaign in interesting and funny ways, 4. Target some people who you know would be interested in your project and personally let them know about it, 5. Make your campaign 30 days and count down the campaign for your social network and backers. 6. Make your prizes clever, 7. Begin working on your project before it is even backed, 8. Set up timelines and deadlines for your team and keep to them, we speak of this as the "train schedule", 9. Use a FUND-O-METER to visually illustrate how close you are to your goal for your social network, and 10. Keep your backers updated on all developments and progress. Our video is in technical production at Alba Studios with our videographer Alan Beavers. We will keep you posted as to our completion. COMING SOON! (If you need video for your project: alan@albaproductions. Rates based on time and complexity)
