We were invited to a late birthday lunch at Spring Creek today. We drove our regular route, which is over the Upper Bridge and is how we reach our river property. Imagine our surprise to find a "Bridge Closed" sign with an arrow pointing to a small lime stone road indicating "Detour". It is all a blur of dust and bumps, which took us so far north that we never crossed the Wakulla, happily flowing way south of us. The food and company made up for it!
